Want to create a Bow and Arrow with your bare hands from materials we forage and chop down in the forest? Join us as we help eradicate some local weed species by sawing them down, whittling them and turning them into Bow and Arrows to practise on targets we have set up around the forest. You can take anything you make home.
Children will have full (supervised) use of our hand tools (including bow saws, hammers, hand drills etc), a myriad of natural resources, building and craft materials for your child to use as their imagination desires.
Ages: 7-16 years (children under 7 may attend under the supervision of a guardian)
BYO: Food and water for the day, long pants and closed in shoes (compulsory for insect bite, scratch and wildlife prevention), towel, swimmers and a change of clothes in case children utilise the creek.
Please note: This is a drop off activity, however parents are more than welcome to stay.
