Prenzlau State School


Prenzlau State School are a small primary school averaging around 60 students from Prep to Year 6. They have 3 multi-age classrooms and their school is 125 years old. Prenzlau State School pride themselves on delivering old world charm and values with contemporary learning and ideas. Inside their classrooms students engage with modern technology and tools yet conversely outside are well grounded in a natural curiosity and desire to engage with their environment. 2019 sees the complete immersion of Forest School in Terms 2 and 3 for all year levels and outdoor learning has been commonplace for the past 12months. Student agency is highly valued at Prenzlau; they challenge themselves daily, reflect on their learnings and look for every opportunity to operate in their ‘courage zone’. They have a saying at Prenzlau State School…we manage risk not avert it!
