Explore Boondall Wetlands on a canoe

Explore Boondall Wetlands creeks on a guided canoe paddle. Have fun out on the water and learn about our waterways, wetlands and wildlife.

All equipment supplied. The activity will go ahead in light rain. Some water confidence is required.

Online bookings required via Eventbrite. Bookings open on Monday 28 May and close at 11.59pm on Thursday 14 June. Maximum 12 participants per event. Maximum 4 people per booking. Wait list is available for up to 10 people.

Age: Adults and children strictly 8 years and over
Please note: if you are on the waitlist, staff will contact you if a place becomes available.
Requirements: Safety requirements apply and are a condition of entry. One adult per child under 12 years required. Adults to sign consent forms prior to the activity. Please bring your completed form with you on the day. For comfort and safety, wear a hat and sunglasses suitable for windy conditions. Wear secure, fully enclosed shoes that can get wet and muddy, sun-smart, quick-dry clothing (no denim or jeans), a light raincoat/rain poncho to go over your life jacket, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Please bring one litre of drinking water and a small energy snack, towel and spare warm clothing and shoes. We recommend wearing layers on cold days. Safety consent forms will be emailed to participants. Please supply your email address and a contact number at the time of booking.
