Known as Bundaberg's own "Kakadu", Baldwin Swamp is home to many species of birdlife and wildlife. Meander through the trails and take in the smells of the Eucalypt trees whilst enjoying the peace and quiet Baldwin Swamp offers. The wetlands provide a roosting, breeding and feeding habitat for thousands of waterbirds. You will find Lake Ellen Heritage Hub on the western side of Baldwin Swamp Environmental park. With plenty of shade, Baldwin Swamp is the perfect place for a picnic. At the western end is a children’s playground, with toilets and other facilities. Baldwin Swamp is very popular with birdwatchers, artists, walkers, cyclists, school groups and anyone who enjoys the beauty of nature.
