Beerburrum and Beerwah State Forests

Exotic pine plantations, open eucalypt forest and rainforest patches surround the peaks of the Glass House Mountains. Glass House Mountains lookout offers great views over all of the Glass House Mountain peaks and walking tracks. Enjoy relaxed camping close to the creek at Coochin Creek camping area, a 1 hr drive north of Brisbane, in the north-east of Beerwah State Forest. It is a renowned spot for fishing and boating. It is close to the site of Campbellville, an 1880s timber town. To get here, take Roys Rd from the Bruce Hwy. Advance bookings are required for camping.
