Project Wild Child is a movement of woman taking their babies into the outdoors. We are undertaking the challenge of raising kids who are unplugged and connected to nature. We believe that mothers who embrace this connection have profound effect on their children, and explore what it means to pass on an inheritance of wildness.
For a mother, a life outdoors brings out the best version of ourselves —more kind, more patient, more playful, more brave and a little more wise. Our children benefit by getting dirty, running, climbing trees, exploring, creating, building, designing, take risks, and diving into imagination.
Our goal is to create a community that holds regular meet up for nature play, adds an element of trek training and plans for remote wilderness experiences together. Together we search for more mindful patters of adventure. You don’t have to be a professional athlete or a rugged outdoorsperson to enjoy the connection and community that will inevitably come from spending time in the wilderness.
