Volunteer with BEACHCARE - Labrador

Help us help our beaches! Come along to your local BeachCare program this Saturday and join in on dune regeneration activities to see a positive impact on our beautiful beaches.
BeachCare is a community engagement program facilitated by the Griffith Centre for Coastal Management in partnership with the City of Gold Coast. You can make a difference through planting native species, removing invasive weeds and collecting and auditing beach litter. Your assistance in these activities will lead to the attraction of more native species and the protection of the coastline, while creating a healthier environment for us all to enjoy.
We welcome everyone to come along; no experience necessary, just a sturdy pair of shoes, plenty of water, sun smart clothing and a positive attitude. See you on the dunes!
